Ninamu Resort Tikehau

The Ninamu Resort is hidden away on a remote motu in the southwest corner of Tikehau atoll. The resort attracts fun seekers of all breeds: divers, fishermen, kiteboarders, surfers, paddlers, and unabashed outdoor enthusiasts. Only 10 handcrafted bungalows compose the makeup of Ninamu offering an intimate relationship with the natural surroundings. Guests will enjoy meals included with their stay. The cuisine is exceptional; all meals are sourced from fresh, local ingredients. Most activities are offered gratuitously. Weather permitting, one lagoon excursion is offered daily.

The Ninamu Resort features 10 handcrafted bungalows each unique in design but all charming. The bungalows boast a natural aesthetic including the use of coral and palm tree wood for building materials. Guests have access to daily excursions, free use of kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, sun loungers, beach towels, pool table, and Wi-Fi internet access.

Oaha Bungalow (1 Bungalow – 1022 sq. ft)

The Oaha Bungalow is on the waterfront and comes with an outdoor deck and private beach access. Both sleeping areas offer one queen-size bed or two single beds. The customary configuration has two single beds in the general living area on the ground floor and a queen-size bed in the private bedroom upstairs. The private bathroom is access from the common area on the ground floor.

Miki Miki Bungalow (1 Bungalow – 495 sq. ft)

The Miki Miki Bungalow is on the waterfront and comes with a covered deck and private beach access. The bedroom and connecting bathroom are located above the deck and access through an exterior stair. Enjoy direct sea views. The outdoor living room on the ground floor provides a spot for relaxation and connection.

Kaveka Bungalow (1 Bungalow – 688 sq. ft)

The Kaveka Bungalow is on the waterfront and comes with an outdoor desk and private beach access. Relish the beauteous surroundings. Both sleeping areas come with either one queen-size bed or two single beds. The standard configuration has two single beds in the double height space on the ground floor and a queen-size bed in the open upstairs loft. The private bathroom is accessed from the common area on the ground floor and is open to a small outdoor garden courtyard.

Kahaia Bungalow (1 Bungalow – 602 sq. ft)

The Kahaia Bungalow is on the waterfront and comes with a covered outdoor deck and private beach access. Take in the lovely garden and seascapes. Both sleeping areas come with either one queen-size or two single beds. The standard configuration has a queen-size bed in the double height space on the ground floor and two single beds in the open upstairs loft. The private bathroom is accessed from the common area on the ground floor.

Tamanu Bungalow (1 Bungalow – 968 sq. ft)

The Tamanu Bungalow is in the garden and can sleep accommodate larger groups of guests. It features three levels. The standard configuration has one queen-size bed in a private bedroom on the lowest level with direct garden access. The upstairs open loft sleeps up to four guests in a queen-size bed and a double daybed. The private bathroom is accessed from the common area on the ground floor.

Varo Bungalow (1 Bungalow – 344 sq. ft)

The Varo Bungalow is in the garden and shares a common wall whilst maintaining privacy. Each bungalow has one queen-size bed with an open bathroom.

The Vini Vini Bungalow is in the garden and features a bathroom that opens into a quaint private courtyard.

Teahupoo Bungalow (1 Bungalow)

The Teahupoo Bungalow is on the beachfront and comes with a covered outdoor deck and private beach access. The bungalow is fully air conditioned. The bungalow is fully air conditioned and comes with one queen-size bed. The adjoining bathroom comes with a private jacuzzi. Other private areas include the beachfront desk and spacious rooftop lounge. Both the loft and rooftop lounges are fitted with modern sound systems plus a ceiling-mounted projector with pull-down screen in the indoor living area.

Meals Included

Guests at Ninamu Resort will enjoy the convenience of having all meals included in the daily room rate (beverages excluded). Even more, guests rave about the cuisine at Ninamu! All meals are sourced from fresh, local ingredients. Breakfasts typically consist of cereals, homemade bread, locally produced organic honey, yogurts, jams, breakfast meats, and eggs cooked to order. Lunches and dinners include poultry and pork products from nearby Eden Isle, an organic family run farm, and freshly caught fish (often times by guests!). You’ll savor the Pacific Ocean treasures such as Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin, Wahoo, Bonito, and more.

Activities

Most activities at Ninamu Resort are included with the price of your reservation including a wide variety of gear and equipment for all types of activities including, atoll exploration, paddle boarding, kayaking, kite surfing, windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling, fishing and more!

Weather permitting, the resort will typically offer one lagoon excursion by boat each day. Sample explorations might include a morning trip to snorkel with the manta rays, followed by a visit to the local organic farm. An afternoon excursion might include fishing and snorkeling in the pass, followed by a relaxing cruise back to Ninamu with cold beverages and a sunset you won’t forget.
