From December 15-20, 2015, the island of Hiva Oa in the Marquesas will be playing host to the Marquesas Art Festival. Organized every four years by the locals, this festival is a perfect way to celebrate Marquesan culture. Showcasing local dance, music, sports, cuisine, tattoos, and art, this festival has brought together over 1800 participants from the Polynesian Triangle (Hawaii, New Zealand, and Easter Island). For the 2015 event, Hotel Hanakee Pearl Lodge is offering travelers a 5 night all-inclusive package, including daily admissions to the festival sites, to help them make the most of the Marquesan Art Festival.
