One of the most exciting events in the South Pacific in 2014 will be the opening of The Brando, the fabulous and luxurious eco-friendly resort on the private island of Tetiaroa. The Brando is sure to become the next top destination for luxury vacation and honeymoon seekers to Tahiti.
Tetiaroa is the former summer retreat of the kings of nearby Tahiti. The heavenly tropical island that Marlon Brando bought in 1966, Tetiaroa is a stunning Polynesian atoll with 12 motus, or islets. The island of Tetiaroa is a feast for the senses: the allure of the scenery; the quiet whisper of the soothing tropical breezes; the unforgettable fragrance of the exotic flowers. It is a place of unsurpassed beauty and tranquility.
The Brando will open on July 1st, with a soft opening on May 1st, 2014. The goal of the property has been achieved: a luxury resort created in total harmony with its natural surroundings. This exclusive retreat, fit for Polynesian royalty, has been designed as a sustainable eco-friendly resort, using renewable energy sources and featuring organic gardens and vegetables.
Guests will arrive to the island by the resort’s own private airways, Air Tetiaroa, which will service guests on the short 20 minute private flight from Tahiti. Upon arrival, guests will be met by hotel staff and transported by electric vehicles to their dreamy private villa for the beginning of their dream Tetiaroa vacation or honeymoon!
The Brando will offer luxurious one-, two- and three-bedroom villas, all set in the lush tropical vegetation along the white sand beach and the warm and inviting waters of the lagoon. Each villa is tastefully decorated with Polynesian furnishings and offers huge windows, private terrace with plunge pool, a sitting room, walk-through dressing area and spacious bedroom, and a media room with television and DVD player. Private access to the spectacular white sand beach is just a short stroll from each villa.
Deluxe amenities include WiFi internet access, a king size bed, air conditioning, espresso coffee machine, mini bar, safety deposit box, laundry service, daily housekeeping service, and turndown service.
Unique to the Brando, the resort will be the first all inclusive resort in Tahiti. Dining choices include the casual beachfront restaurant with its extraordinary views of the lagoon, as well as the fine dining restaurant that features the exceptional cuisine of Guy Martin, Chef Proprietaire of the three-star Michelin-rated Le Grand Vefour Restaurant in Paris. There are also two bars, one located on the second floor of the main building, and Dirty Old Bob’s Bar, named after Marlon Brando’s friend and assistant, and located on the white sand beach. Additionally 24 hour room service will be available for guests offering private dining options in their villa, terrace or on the beach.
Guests at The Brando will also enjoy other special amenities and inclusions during their stay such as a complimentary daily island excursion and spa treatment at the Spa Arii Vahine, the property’s world-class spa set in a lush tropical garden.
Due to the limited number of villas offered, we are sure the Brando will become the most sought after destination in Tahiti in 2014. Contact us if you would like to be notified when rates and reservations are open for The Brando for your exclusive luxury honeymoon or vacation to Tahiti.
