Tahiti prepares for the 27th International Tahiti Golf Open

The island of Tahiti is preparing for the opening of the 27th annual International Tahiti Golf tournament on September 2nd held at the Olivier Bréaud International Golf Course. Located on the west side of Tahiti, the Olivier Bréaud International Golf Course, offers a spectacular 18-hole fairway set just between the mountains and lagoon surrounded by rich tropical and colorful vegetation.
The golf tournament, which is hosted by PGA Australia, expects more than 50 golfers from all over the world to participate. Several Tahitian golfers are also expected.

On the nearby island of Moorea, a Pro-Am golf tournament will be held on September 6th at the Moorea Green Pearl Golf Club. Nicknamed the “Green Pearl” in reference to the emerald green fairways and the lush valleys of Moorea, add in the tropical palms, deep blue lagoons, and multi hued flowers and players’ strokes vibrate intense colors that seem nearly artificial. Perfectly located between lagoons and mountains, the 18 hole, par 70 golf course offers challenging play for all, due to its numerous bunkers , stretches of water and driving range over the lake.
